My blogging-aim is to review cookbooks, either bought for me by my opportunist husband or borrowed from the library, and to test recipes. Food memories will also slip into my posts and here and there I will offer up an often unsentimental nostalgia-trip to a northern working-class childhood where food was treated with respect and due reverence.
